This old family recipe makes a great store cupboard / isolation lunch.

Base:

175g flour

3 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 Tbsp butter

½ cup milk

Mix together into a dough. Roll base out thinly and place on a 9" (23cm) pie plate (or use a baking tray)

Topping:

Spread base with tomato sauce.

Add chopped onion, 2 rashers chopped bacon, grated cheese, sliced tomato, and pineapple pieces cut up.

Bake at 190°C (fan oven) for about 20-25 minutes.

This recipe from Olive Roper has been a family favourite for decades, and made many an appearance at Willow Ave Chapel pot luck lunches.
