110g butter
¼ cup golden syrup
½ cup brown sugar
1½ cups rolled oats
½ cup dried fruit (e.g. raisins, apricots, cranberries) – chopped small if necessary
½ cup dessicated (or shredded) coconut
½ cup nuts (e.g. walnuts, mixed chopped nuts, cashews)
Select a 20cm microwaveable dish.
Using microwave, melt butter and golden syrup.
Stir in brown sugar, stirring until dissolved.
Add rest of the ingredients. Stir until mixed.
Press the mixture firmly and evenly into dish.
Microwave for 3-5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
When cool, cut into bars.
