Tomorrow is Anzac Day.
Commemorated since 1916, on the anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, we remember those who have given their lives for our country in all wars and conflicts.
Under normal circumstances we would be attending Anzac services at cenotaphs and local war memorials with our communities.
This year, we have the opportunity to Stand At Dawn together to remember our fallen.
Stand together at 6:00 am on Saturday 25 April. Stand at your letterbox, at your front door, on your balcony, or in your driveway as you listen to the Anzac Day service broadcast.
See the RSA site Stand At Dawn for details on how to listen to the broadcast, and to download or make poppies to wear and display.
The service will include:
The Last Post
A minute’s silence
National Anthems (Australian and New Zealand)
Address by Hon. Ron Mark, Minister of Defence / Minister for Veterans
Follow the links above to download the words of the ode and anthems.
