Easter Story Egg Hunt

Writer's picture: BCC BlogBCC Blog

A brilliant activity for kids over Easter, which has been shared by Nikkey.

Combine a re-telling of the Easter Story with a fun paper Easter egg hunt!

As you read the story, you will need to hunt for all the picture clues.

You can download the resources by following the highlighted links.

Make sure you have enough of each picture for everyone playing (i.e. 4 people = 4 palm branches, etc).

Hide the eggs around the house or garden.

Make the first eggs (palm branches) easy to find to get started.

As you go through the clues, you can make them a bit harder.

Playing the game

Read each paragraph in turn, and look at the picture clue.

Hunt for the relevant eggs.

One those eggs have been found, read the next paragraph.

Keep going until you have read the story and found all the eggs.
