Most of us have come across Haiku – a Japanese form of poetry.
Haiku are short poems, consisting of just three lines – the first and last lines have 5 syllables, the middle line has 7. They usually reflect on the beauty or significance of the things around us. They do not rhyme.
Today, why don't you write a haiku about something you see in your house or garden, or on your walk today.

Rain spatters the glass
Wind drives the drops in circles
